Cabinet condition
Water-swollen boxes, loose hinge plates and chipped edges get repaired before any finish goes on. Repairs are always quoted separately so you can see them.
Kitchen layout
Islands, pantries, tall units and glass-front doors all add pieces and prep. A compact kitchen packed with doors can take longer than a large open one.
Colour change
Going light over a dark stain needs a stain-blocking primer and an extra coat. Going darker, or staying close to the current tone, is usually quicker.
Custom work
New hardware, soft-close hinges, crown moulding, open shelving or a two-tone island are all available — each listed as its own line on your estimate.

Asked before every job
Every hinged cabinet door counts as one, and every drawer front counts as one — including the small spice drawers and the wide pan drawers under a cooktop. Cabinet frames and exposed end panels are already covered in the package price, so you do not need to measure them. If you are unsure, send photos and we will do the counting for you.

Because the expensive part of a kitchen — the boxes, the layout, the installation — is already in your home and usually built better than what is sold flat-packed today. Refinishing changes everything you see and touch while keeping the structure you already paid for, which is why a full kitchen can start at $1,500 instead of five figures.
Not unless you ask for something that was not quoted. If we uncover genuine hidden damage — a slow leak behind a sink cabinet, a swollen box base — we stop, show you, and price the repair in writing before continuing. You approve it before we pick a tool back up.
Yes. Doors and drawer fronts are removed and sprayed away from your living space, so your counters, sink and appliances stay usable throughout. The cabinets are open-faced for a few days, and everything goes back on at the end — aligned, adjusted and inspected.
No. Colour consultation is included in every refinishing quote, and you get to see the finish in your own kitchen light before we commit a single cabinet to it. Note that a dramatic colour change — going white over a dark stain, for example — adds a primer stage, which is reflected in your written estimate.
